I have a disability called PTSD. Most people think of this as only a military condition, but there are all kinds of wars besides those who have fought for our freedoms. I am unable to work in the mainstream workforce for extended periods of time. There are many causes for this debilitating injury. * Childhood abuse * Rape * Capture * Bullying * Spousal abuse * Natural disasters * Car crashes * Front-line workers Police, EHS, Emergency nurses and doctors * Personal Care workers * Witnessing a violent act... Death, like a murder * Emotional,mental, physical and sexual abuse from strangers * Harassment in the workplace People with this injury not illness; did not ask for these things to be brought to their lives! There is little understood about this condition which brings on flashbacks, nightmares, night terrors, acute anxiety, mood swings, depression and sometimes causes other things like Somatization... this causes seizures or another type of illness the feeling y...
